Happy Saturday! Here is your weekly dose of techno-optimism, startup thoughts and ways to improve the world.

  1. Propel on Startups for Good. Jimmy Chen the founder and CEO of Propel joined me on the Startups for Good podcast. The company started as a way to check your food stamps balance (SNAP). Now it is growing into a trusted source of information, jobs and financial products for millions of low income Americans.

  2. TOC. I have failed you loyal readers. I have yet to write here enough about Theory of Constraints. A friend and loyal reader Max recently read The Goal for the first time. How did I let it wait this long?! If you are interested in business, continuous improvement or thinking more clearly, do not delay. Learn more about theory of constraints ASAP.

  3. Efficient Market? Are all the good ideas for startups taken? Or are there plenty of opportunities for great solutions? Here is an argument for there being lots of opportunity and how to foster more solutions.

Until next week,

Miles
